This policy explains how Kulffy ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit kulffy.com, buy from us or contact us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
• Order details: your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, and what you bought.
• Payment details: processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, through our contact form or through our website chat.
• Browsing data: device, browser, IP address and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
• To process, ship and track your order, and to send order updates.
• To answer your questions and handle returns.
• To send marketing emails, only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep our store secure, prevent fraud and improve our website.
Our website chat assistant
The chat on our website is an AI assistant that answers questions about our products, shipping and returns. If you give it your order number and the email you used at checkout, it can tell you your order's status and tracking. It never shows addresses or payment details. If you ask for a person, it passes your name, email and question to our team.
Chat messages are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic, United States) and kept in our customer-support system so we can help you and improve our answers. Please don't share card details or passwords in the chat.
Who we share it with
We only share what's needed to run the store:
• Shopify: our store and checkout platform.
• Our fulfilment partner: packs and ships your order, and receives your name, address and phone number for delivery.
• Delivery carriers: deliver your parcel.
• Our AI chat provider: processes messages you send in the website chat.
• Advertising and analytics tools (such as TikTok, Meta and Google): use cookies to measure and improve our ads. You can manage this through our "Your privacy choices" page and your browser settings.
We never sell your personal information.
Overseas transfers
Some of our service providers, including Shopify, our AI chat provider and our fulfilment partner, store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Canada and China. We only use providers that take reasonable steps to protect it.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your country and preferences, and understand how our store is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but some parts of the store may not work properly.
Keeping your information safe
We use reputable platforms with encryption and security controls, and keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@kulffy.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, email hello@kulffy.com and we'll work to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
